Custom Wall Graphic
A custom wallcovering serves as inspiration for the rest of the design which allows children and families alike to discover something new each time they return. The graphic tells the story of a native cardinal’s journey through the Cleveland Metroparks and ultimately landing in its nest.
Column Enclosures
Three existing columns in the middle of the waiting room were turned into whimsical tree forms bringing the wall graphic to life

Woodland setting extends into clinical spaces.
The interior design of the lobby works cohesively with the wall graphic by creating a modern woodland setting within the hospital environment. This theme is carried through the clinical corridors and exam rooms.
Wayfinding
Floor material identifies cross corridors and decision points to make it easier to get around. Each department is identified with painted circles surrounding a tree panel mimicking the forms found in the custom graphic.

The transformation of UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital's Multi-specialty Clinic, in collaboration with renowned partner Perspectus Architecture, is a milestone project for +Detail. This endeavor has redefined the physical space and set a new standard in pediatric healthcare environments.
At the heart of this project was the challenge of creating a functional and comforting space for young patients and their families. +Detail and our esteemed partner embraced this challenge, innovating at the intersection of healthcare needs and compassionate design. Our approach was to create an environment that fosters healing, eases the anxiety of medical visits, and inspires hope in every corner.
